Joe is the FSS Area Business Development Manager for Siemens Industry FSS Division.  He is a Senior Engineering Technician, NICET Certified Level IV #91001 with 20 years experience in the fire protection and life safety field.

Professional affiliations include the GA Automatic Fire Alarm Association, President and Founding Member; Society of Fire Protection Engineers, Member; Society of American Military Engineers, Member.

Management professional with 30 years experience with Honeywell.  

Responsible for the day-to-day operations and sales of a branch including staff development and management, customer sales, inventory control and operational compliance.

Hires/leads/manages/coaches/trains inside sales staff to attain required levels of sales revenue and customer service, while monitoring quality and quantity of work produced.  Participates in direct selling to meet branch sales goals.

Ensures proper inventory control by analyzing needs, maintaining appropriate product levels, controlling returns, monitoring back orders, overrides, product in transit, etc.

Complies with internal operating requirements by ensuring that goals are met/exceeded, managing e-receivables/credit collections, reconciling cash-on-hand, maintaining branch systems/security and ensuring that their branch closes out on a daily basis. Also responsible for sales margins and P & L.

BBA with major in Accounting from University of Puerto Rico and MBA Finance from Interamerican University Puerto Rico. Started career in the Accounting/Finance field at several small general contractors and power tools/fastening systems distribution companies for 5 years. Hired by Black & Decker (PR) LLC as Accounting Manager for the Puerto Rico branch (1994 – 1999).

Employed by Siemens since 1999, expanding Finance Management role from Puerto Rico to Florida & Caribbean. Relocated to Atlanta in 2009 as Finance Manager responsible for Georgia and the Carolinas.

Former member of the Board of Directors/Treasurer for the Puerto Rico chapter of the German-American Chamber of Commerce. Elected as Treasurer for GA-AFAA in January 2011.

Employed 14 years by Honeywell Fire Systems Group Services as an Applications Specialist providing fire alarm/integrated systems submittals & as-built drawings, programming, and technical assistance to distributors and OEM customers for all the Honeywell Fire brands. Received a Gold Bravo Award and is currently Program Manager Chairman for the re-instated Georgia AFAA.
 

Left Audio-Tech, Inc., as VP/Sales after 15 years of performing design, support and sales of various low voltage electronic and integrated systems,  training end-users and providing technical assistance on code and product information to local and state fire marshals, engineers, architects, and end-users. Earned NICET Certifications of Level IV Fire Alarm Systems and Level I Low Voltage (Audio) Systems. Served as Secretary, Vice President and President of the previous Georgia AFAA organization.

Jesse began working as a Customer Service Representative with the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company in 1975.  He moved to Georgia in 1980 where he began working in sales for a national auto parts company for the next 14 years in Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina.  

In 1994, he returned to Georgia and began working for Mitec Controls for the next 17 years in service contract sales and training.
